What is Movies on Market Square?
A FREE outdoor movie series brought to you by the Knox County Public Library. All you have to do is pack a blanket or a lawn chair and join hundreds of others under the stars for a night in front of the silver screen.

What's the line up ?
All movies are PG-13 or less. You should check out reviews to make sure the movie is right for your family.

What's the schedule and where are they?
The movies are on downtown Knoxville's Market Square, Friday nights from September 7 through October 12. That's 6 great nights of free fun. The movies start around 8--as soon as it's dark enough!

Where do I park?
Free parking is available at the Market Street Garage, the Locust Street Garage, the State Street Garage, and on the street. You can check out a map of the parking options here.

Why does the Library show movies?
The Library has a great collection of DVDs. In fact, our Sights and Sounds collection is one of the best in the Southeast. And it's totally free! You can check out CDs and DVDs without any extra charges.

Our popular outdoor movie series returns to Market Square for the ninth year of free family fun in front of the silver screen! Partnering with PetSafe, this year's Movies on Market Square continues its quest to be the most pet friendly movie series ever.
